Dear Raider Families,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year at Richmond County Elementary and Middle School!

As I begin my second year as Principal here at RCEM, I want to thank you for the continued support, kindness, and sense of community that define RCEM. From day one, the Raider Family has impressed me with its commitment to our students and its dedication to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This year, we remain focused on building a school culture rooted in our core values: Respect, Responsibility, and Safety. Our passionate and skilled educators are ready to engage students in meaningful learning experiences that challenge them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.  We are especially excited to welcome all of our new students and staff to RCEM, including the Kindergarten Class of 2038!  Whether you're new or returning, we are so glad you're here and can’t wait to see what this year holds.

At RCEM, we believe that education is a partnership between school and home. When families and educators work together, great things happen for our students. This year, we’ll continue to offer many ways for parents and guardians to get involved, stay informed, and support our school community. Please keep an eye out for upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and other ways to connect.  Communication will be ongoing throughout the year via newsletters, phone calls, and our school Facebook page. If you ever move or change your contact information, please be sure to update the front office so we can stay in touch.

It is truly an honor to lead this incredible school. Please know that my door is always open. If you have any questions or would like to talk, feel free to reach out by phone or email to schedule a time to connect.

Let’s make it a great year together!
